Clark Model 52 1:10 Barrels
Hi All,
I am thinking of getting a new barrel for my M52-2. I see that Clark Custom has aftermarket 1:10 twist M52 barrels available. Has anyone used these barrels? Are they any good?
Best,
Joe

Clark 1911 barrels are dimensionally all over the place. Real pain to fit taking much more effort. A beginning gunsmith would probably not be able to fit one without a lot of help. I won’t use anymore of them. Based on the experiences (off the record) I’m hearing from shooters who have been getting the Clark 52 barrels I won’t go there. Having said that if you’re a die hard 52 guy/gal then you don’t have many choices. I’d personally wait for KKM to become a reality.

I spoke with KKM on Monday. Project is making progress but running behind as do all new projects. Best guess is another 4-6 weeks. Plan is to have barrel with fit bushing and POSSIBLY a new slide stop pin to aid in fitting.Jon Eulette wrote:Clark 1911 barrels are dimensionally all over the place. I like Jon wouldn't care to touch a Clark 52 barrel.
