The Anticipation is Killing Me

I keep checking the CMP Competition Tracker every day.  Every single 22 EIC match that was fired the weekend of the 22/23 September except Nashville Matchmasters is already in the system and final.  This, of course, is the match that I won with a 289 and should give me my final 4 points for Distinguished 22.  It's driving me nuts waiting.  If it comes soon, I will have a double digit badge number.  Only about 4 more of those left.  I have to get some dignity back after the Highpower Leg match I shot on 10/7.  I only need 4 points on that badge also.   I thought that a 483-9X would get me a 6 point leg, but I was sadly mistaken.

I understand. I got my 22 badge in late Aug and I think it was around this time before the scores were posted. Like you I was checking daily. They process matches really fast up until Perry, then I think they take some time off and just get to it whenever they have a few minutes.

I've been anxious to see those results too! I want to see if it's a 6 and 8 point leg match or just a 6 point leg match. I kept asking around and nobody had a definitive answer as to how many legs there would be. I'm hoping I at least got another 6 points and you the 8 so I too can make distinguished rimfire. Thats all I needed was 6. You got me in that match by a point!!!! Nice shooting.

I don’t think I got points. There were less non-distinguished shooters than we thought. Results are in.

Just saw it.  It looks like there were 3 that had shot more than 5 matches for the year.  Buckman, Cudd and Peters are not distinguished, but didn't count toward the ND total.  

I got badge # 96

You will get it the next match you shoot though.

No telling when that’ll be. Next years season is getting more and more jacked up the longer this recruiting process takes. I wanted it as a civilian. Not gonna happen. No more EIC matches near me for the rest of the year that I know of.
