Rear sight cocking bar Empty Rear sight cocking bar

I installed an Aimtech grip mount yesterday on my Springfield Range Officer. Got it sighted in with my Ultradot II. I could only get about a 3" group at 25 yards with it, but I'm not sure whether thats the gun, the mount, or the shooter.

Anyway, only after I sighted it in did I realize I can't field strip it because the rear sight interferes with the mount. So since I'm going to have to remove it anyway, I thought I would put one of those knobs through the rear sight that helps you pull back the slide. Anybody know where you can buy one? Clark puts them on their custom guns, but the part isn't listed on the website.

By the way, are they meant to be slip fit so you can remove them? Otherwise the gun in the link above would also be non field strip-able.

Thanks. That also answers my question: They have a set screw in them to hold them in place.

Never used and never mounted on a gun. If you want this one I would sell it to you for $30 shipped.

Send me a PM if you are interested in it.

The briley won't work. The RO is cut for an LPA. Been there done that.

I have been down that road too. I found, not tried, a slide racker made by CZ http://czcustom.com/ctssliderackersightbasets.aspx

It is a LPA cut that "should" fit. It is made to hold a red dot sight on it. I am wanting to fit it under my RRA sight rib combo in the big gap. I havent pulled the trigger on it yet do to the high shipping cost...out of principle.

Get it, try it, let me know !

I used one from EGW for a Heinie cut. Not an exact fit but it works.
