Scoring Module LIVE on Precision Shooting Matches
I'm taking the liberty of starting a new thread here due to the fact that the other post is getting a bit long in pages.
I'm proud to announce to all of you that the scoring module on PSM is now live and operational! Thoroughly tested and functioning, Match Directors can now enter in all scoring shot values for competitors that they system will retain forever. These scores will be the food for all the stats to come out of the new stats module that is about 90% complete as well as the Score Reporting module that will organize and print out all your scoring data to send to the NRA, CMP or whomever you need to.
It's been a hell of a month getting this ready and I hope you all enjoy using it as much as I am bringing it to you. A lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money went into this.
Any questions, comments or special requests are welcome as always!
Match Directors already set up on the site should feel free to go play with the scoring (see the latest blog post for more details on that: https://precisionshootingmatches.com/11/psm-scoring-module-is-live/)
Competitors should feel free to register for matches and encourage your Match Directors to make use of the RSVP registration system because this is how the system will allow them to input your scores. Not yet a competitor? Register here: https://precisionshootingmatches.com/register/competitors/
I hope you find this as exciting as I do.

PS, I hope you like the new logo as well...

In case anyone is interested in seeing how the scoring works, I made this short video...
Alternatively, you can also see the video on https://precisionshootingmatches.com/about-psm/.

Re: Scoring Module LIVE on Precision Shooting Matches
Looks very good.
Quick question, saw a 1800 match listed as a selection.
We have 2 types of 1800 pistol matches during our winter indoor season.
1) A 2 gun match with a 22 & CF (2-900's) each having a SF,NMC,TF,RF match
2) A 3 gun match 22,CF, & 45 (3-600's) each having a SF, TF, RF match and no NMC.
Will scoring module handle this?
- Dave
Also I noticed the "0" entry I wonder if this should be changed to and reported as an "M" ?

Re: Scoring Module LIVE on Precision Shooting Matches
Hi Dave,
Absolutely! There is also an NRA 600 Scorecard built into the system as well. Not to mention the fact that if anyone runs a non-typical or "funky" type match, I can literally create any configuration of scorecard that you might need if it cannot be created with the options already there. So long as it has 10 shot values per string and scores from ten to four (plus X and 0) I can create it for you. Want to shoot an 1100 match? No problem.

***UPDATE*** The Score Reporting Module has completed testing and is now live for all match directors to use after completing their scoring. Click the red "Export Scores" button and the report downloads to a PDF file to print, save, share or do with as you please.
Competitor Portal pages are now in testing... and they'ree awesome.
Any questions and you know where to find me.
