Brownells 22lr conversion magazine
Has anyone tried the Brownells 22lr conversion magazine in their Nelson or Marvel conversions?
I have a Nelson and would normally buy one from them, but I received a Brownells Gift Card for Xmas and I thought I might use it on one unless people have had problems with them.

Saw this post, went and ordered 5. Will let you know in both a Marvel and a Nelson as I have both. Probably get to shoot some this weekend, weather permitting.

I have 5... some need minor fitting for my caspian frame... file/sand the back of the mag just a bit and it will slide right in.teg2658 wrote:I have had one for two years and it has been flawless.

If you don't have a lock back conversion get the ProMag for $14.89, 4 years ago I bought 10 when they were on sale for $9.99, they are flawless and no mods were required on them with a Marvel Unit 1 using Les Baer lower.

I've had good luck with the GSGs and they're usually on sale for $17.

Re: Brownells 22lr conversion magazine
My order came Saturday and I got to shoot them yesterday.
My Marvel is on a Springfield Frame. All 5 functioned perfectly and they fit the Springfield frame like they were designed exactly for it.
My Nelson is on an Essex frame. All 5 functioned perfectly, but they were a bit tight in the frame.
Glad the OP mentioned these mags.

Re: Brownells 22lr conversion magazine
I can't help myself. You should see my Marvel. It's nice, I think I may have more money in it than my 45 wadgun. It even has an Aimpoint 9000 2MOA on it.
I may have to use my Nelson for the first few 22 EIC matches in 2019 until my Benelli gets back from having the barrel relined.
Good thing I bought multiple conversion kits. Can't have too many, lol. For the 900s, I'll keep using the Pardini.
