KKM Barrel
Is anyone using a KKM barrel for their 45? If so are you using any twist but 16? And how is it working for you? I put a 9mm together based on a 1911 using a KKM barrel and I was impressed with the accuracy.

Re: KKM Barrel
I have a Springfield RO with the KKM .45 1911 barrel and no issues with the accuracy. I have another .45 KKM for a Springfield MilSpec waiting to be installed next. Now with that said, I have a few 9mm 1:10 barrels that I can't wait to sight in.
Oversize quality barrels custom fitted should fill the bill.

KKM is my barrel of choice for jacketed ammo. I've never used anything other than a 1-16 in 45 with amazing results.

Excellent barrels.. for me they shoot lead as well as anyone's if the throat is setup correctly. Very short chambered from the factory that allows you to set the headspace to whatever you want.. a bit more.work than some other barrels but worth it

I agree, they are good barrels. It's great that they will chamber the barrel for you once you fit it without charge. Handy for me since I didn't have a 9mm chamber reamer. I have the 1:32 twist barrel and it shoots great.
