Crimp with coated bullets

I read here about crimp to .469 or .463 etc.  
I was loading some missouri 200 SWC and I usually pull a bullet and look for a 
breech in the coating.  Like a ring into the lead.  If its there, I back off on the crimp.
Getting .469-471 is about as far as I can go.   

This is the same test recommended for plated bullets.  I do not use plated bullets.

What are others crimping coated bullets to?  

Have you pulled a bullet to see?

I treat my hi-tek coted bullets exactly the same.as traditional lubed bullets.

I crimp all my .45 Hi-Tek bullets at .469. in 9mm I use .377

I use Bayous hi-tek coated bullets for my 45 and crimp to .464-.465.  With my pistol they seem to run better with that much crimp.
