Re: MG2 EVO 22 Pistol
Pretty sexy. I wonder if they would sell you a batch with the rail but no irons, would make it look slicker and save on production cost. My guess is 80-90% of us won't use the irons anyway.
Did you by chance weigh the pistol with the 9000sc and micro?

Custom rail
No. BE version has an integral rail that is machined onto the slide cover. The photos posted by Jon is an ISSF version. Its slide cover has two M4 tapped holes for mounting optical rail.estuck wrote:Is that what the newest bullseye version will have on it?

Re: MG2 EVO 22 Pistol
Do you guys have a photo of the integral rail or is it still in the development stage?

Re: MG2 EVO 22 Pistol
Those pictures were mock ups done before the prototype was even completed. When I talked to Kang back in late Jan or early Feb they were just finalizing the final drawings for the Bullseye integral rail.Slartybartfast wrote:Interesting. MG2 variants
I like to clarify the available options for MG2.
MG2 has the following three options.
1. No tapped holes on slide cover for rail mounting.
2. Has two M4 tapped holes on slide cover for rail mounting.
3. Has integral rail machined onto the slide cover for direct scope mounting.
MG2 BE is the Bullseye version and has tungsten compensator.
1. Its slide cover can be either option 2 or 3 of the above for MG2.
2. The barrel can be 6 inch or 7 inch long.
I have seen photos of the new slide cover with integral rail. They presented this at the IWA. We are still working on another design option.

Not cool to hijack Jon's thread. If you have something productive about his rail, post it, otherwise create your own thread about what MG is doing.

I see no hijacking here. Unless I am missing something, I see new user is asking where this rail can be purchased. Otherwise, entire post goes way back including latest post by Kang that clarifies rail options.

Re: MG2 EVO 22 Pistol
I have an extra rail for the MG if you need one. It's not pretty, but Jon made it for me when there weren't any rails available. Let me know if you are interested and I'll send some photosTBoneSWE wrote:Where can I buy the rail?

MG2 Optical Rails
There are two scope rail options for MG2 EVO.
2 mounting point version by Jon Eulette.
3 mounting point version by Slava. Do a search for "Matchguns" on Amazon.
