Cast bullet weight variation
We have had several questions from people about weight variation in our bullets, and have heard some horror stories from some of the same people about what they have experience from other casters. So today we found the time to do some checking and report on our results.

This is just 9mm-125 the profile I happened to pull off the shelf. Please give it a read, and let us know if you would like to see more or different detail in future articles.
Thanks all, you guys have been so very supportive and we really appreciate it!

Re: Cast bullet weight variation
I will say this... I hand cast using Magma Engineering brand molds which is I believe what you guys use for the majority of your profiles. I got a new Magma mold this week and ran a 400 bullet test. I also got a +/- .5 grain weight. So you guys are mass producing to the same weight tolerances as I am by hand, good job. Can't ask for more.

Brazos
45 180gr SWC/Flat Base/Groove Hi-Tek coating, below are my results using my Dillon Precision scale.
Range is from 180.4 to 183.7 on 100 bullets pulled from a box of 500 or so. No Idea to what degree this matters.
