Anyone shooting Zero 185 JHP in there S&W Model 25 Revolver
Over the years I've done OK shooting the revolver at Camp Perry.
This year for the Harry Reeves I was thinking of shooting the big bore revolver.
I was just going to load 4.6 Bulleye powder which is the load I shoot in the 1911.
Looking for some advice for those who may have shot the Model 25 in the past.

For what it's worth, meaning I'm no Master but I've been shooting a 25-2 for about five years now. My experience has been that the 185 JHP whatever brand doesn't shoot as well as a 200gr LSWC with 3.8gr of Bullseye. Lately and going forward I'm using the Magnus #801 185gr lead button nose with 4.0gr of Vitahvouri N310 1.131 OAL. Last weekend's match I shot a 91-2x slow fire which good for me.
For the short line I use a very light load with Bob's 160gr LSWC over 3.25gr of Bullseye 1.151 OAL.
The 3.25 grains is the calculated average of 10 powder charges from that powder slide for my Star Reloader. Keep in mind you will have to make a big upward elevation adjustment from the long line to the short line.
For both I'm using Auto Rim cases instead of ACP cases. My two cents, it works for me.
