Model 41 frame purchase?

Hey everyone, new to the forum and sport and I have a quick question. Looking at Clark model 41 barrel and I am wondering if anyone sells just the complete frame for a 41? Or should I buy a lower end “beat” complete 41 and just use frame? Coming from Mark iv hunter with ultra dot and while I can’t come close to outshooting it I’d like a 41. Also planning a 45 wad gun colt gold cup stainless or les Baer premier 2 that I’d like to have tuned up. Any input would be awesome. Thanks, Casey

Good luck getting a Clark barrel for a 41.  I ordered one, waited 6 months, and had to cancel the order.  They said they couldn't get the steel from their supplier.

Keep your eye on the classifieds here. Lots of good 22's and 45's for sale. I believe a Clark barrel just sold recently. Can't help on the frame purchase, though.

I ordered a clark barrel back on April 8, 2019.  

Made multiple status inquiries and it started with "its out of stock but go ahead and place your order" to "trying to find a steel supplier" to "expecting steel delivery any day" and a couple weeks ago of "We got the steel so it should be a week or so".

Still have not seen it.

I went to see Clark at Perry and it looked like they had barrels there on display with pistols.  Maybe they were just taking orders for them?

I thought they use to use Shilen blanks for the barrels.
