30mm rings for Ultradot?

I always used Aimpoint 30mm rings for Ultradots but apparently they are discontinued now and are not available anywhere. What is the next best thing? I tried Leupold PRW2 but they are made from steel and too heavy.

Look at the Weaver Tactical 99515 rings. They're 30mm and weigh 2.9oz which is just a half ounce or so more than stock Aimpoint rings. The benefit is they have a steel insert for the cross bolt, its not just threaded into aluminum. I once stripped a pair of 9000SC rings by applying just 20 inch pounds of torque to the clamp screw, I haven't trusted them since. Give them a shot, I think you'll like them.

If you want some nice heavier rings look at the Warne 213M, they're all steel and very nice. 4.6oz total weight.

Well, that's the thing, I'm trying to avoid heavy rings, otherwise I would've used Leupold.
One thing I don't like about these Weaver rings is the huge nut sticking out.

In Order of quality/weight    Vism, Redfield, ATG, CCop. My favorite one however is the Leupold Rifleman.
