ClearsighT...is it worth bringing it back?
First topic message reminder :
I created ClearsighT in the 80s to help keep focus on the front sight. obviously works very well, as thousands were sold.
With the advent of “any sights”, Especially red dot, the market disappeared. I quit making them.
I have had some inquiries about availability and am searching my storage for NOS to assemble a few. It is a pretty good commitment in time and money to re-start the business. I am almost 80 years old and wonder whether it is worth doing
So, what thinks the Forum?

I'd go for the ClearsighT; the clip-on looks a bit flimsy.

Happy day!
The guy I loaned mine to is also a BE list member & saw my post about not being able to remember who I loaned it to. Brought it back to me intact. No missing lenses & no stripped screws.

I don't think he is going to make them. This is what he suggested that I use;
Here is the least expensive alternative http://www.champchoice.com/store/Main.aspx?p=ItemDetailOptions&item=CCSCL10
It is a +1.0 diopter clip-on to go over your shooting glasses, Distance Vision
You can put translucent tape over the non-shooting eye.
I emphasize: Over your distance vision glasses, prescription or not!

Did production restart?
I would buy a set and perhaps a second.

I would think there would be an initial responce of 100 to 200 units and after that business would be slow. You would need to get the product out to that dealers that cater to Precision Shooters like Champions Choice.
