Think I might have a new favorite 22 pistol.
Kind of on a whim I started looking at Hammerli 208 pistols, I discounted the 208s because I didn't think I could afford one. Low and behold good ole Jon gave me a lead on this like new 208s that was priced at or below comparable 208 pistols. I snapped it up and just got a new LGI scope mount and LGI/Rink 1911 style grips in the mail today.
The grips are amazing, my hands aren't that large and these grips have everything good about a 1911 grip but are under cut even more which makes them feel even nicer. After some tinkering I've got the 2 stage trigger to about 2.25# and has a nice light roll.
Mounted a 9000sc with some Warne steel rings and the pistol is just an ounce or so over 3#. That gets it into the weight range as my other pistols, it balances quite nicely as well.
I can't wait to get to the range to see how I shoot its. I'll be trying out CCI SV and RWS Target Pistol. If it shoot as good as it feels I expect to be pleased.
My current match 22 is a Marvel conversion on a custom lower by Jon, 9000sc up top. I'm also on the list for the next MG2 shipment but I don't expect that until later this year. It's so hard to resist collecting 22 target pistols lol.

Congrats!, it looks like a sweet setup! I like the grips! I'm sure it's going to be a highly accurate shooting machine, most of the 208's are!

If the barrel and crown are good it will shoot as good and the Marvel on the long line and expect your x count to go up on the short line. The trigger makes all the difference.
