Registering NRA Match
Looking for Beth's contact information.
Tried to register our league on the website but it keeps crashing at: https://tournaments.nra.org/Views/Confirm.aspx
If someone knows of another way to submit scores to the NRA we appreciate it. No response to emails/calls so far and trying to find a path to get our program up to full speed.
Cheers,
Jay

Re: Registering NRA Match
You have to report registered match scores by mail at least that is what I have been told and done.
What stat software are you using and feel free to contact or call me if you still have my number.

Derek/Jay,
Every year I ran that match, I sanctioned it using the online tool for it.
This is just another way the NRA is letting this ship sink.
Good luck with the sanctioning.

Thanks Mark,
The Online tool isn’t working, used 3 browsers and called, no response. This whole thing should be automated.

Re: Registering NRA Match
Are you trying to submit the scores or setup the registered match? I have always been able to set up the matches online. But the reporting was manual.

Register the Match online. When I get home I’ll post the webpage error I’m getting.

The link is working. You may need to use a different browser.JayhawkNavy02 wrote:Register the Match online. Re: Registering NRA Match
I can open the web page, its when I submit on the last step that I get the server error. Did you proceed past the "Submit Application"? Tried with Mozilla Firefox and Internet explorer same results.

I went back and instead of putting each month in individually I just did the entire calendar year at it went through with Chrome. I guess it was coughing on each monthly match being registered.

Re: Registering NRA Match
Sometimes in the past the registration page is a little quirky but I've not had any problems with Google Chrome in the past few years. Sometimes there is a toggle that gets hidden at the end of the pages when viewed on some screens as well.
I send in the score for matches (or at the end of a league) using the paper format. There is a suggested form for that, but just mimic the SR1 reporting format. (Name, Score, Number of Shots, NRA number, Address, Division, Class, etc.. I use the old Stat Office 7 program for the NRA report.)
There was an announced on line reporting page, but I can't seem to find it now. It appears they are also having some other web page work done as some pages don't link properly or take you to the correct place.

Re: Registering NRA Match
I'm sure one of the many reasons Practical shooting sports are doing so well is Practiscore.
Precision Shooting Matches is obviously trying to match that for Bullseye.
But I guess the failure to cooperate between the NRA and CMP demonstrates it's a waste of time to hope that PrecisionShootingMatches/Practiscore/NRA/CMP could come to some mutually beneficial arrangement that could create a useful online and match time suite of applications.
From various threads it seems match directors are ignored and powerless faced with the NRA structure.

Re: Registering NRA Match
I talked to Beth, she’s terrific. What I was trying to do (made sense to me) was register each monthly league match for all 12 months at the same time and then submit. The page doesn’t work that way. Each submission is for its own unique event. Now that I’m trained I’ll go back in and re-submit. Chrome was the champ for this.
I’ll be calling you Mr. Davis for software and sent an email to Ms. Kramer Mkramer@nrahq.org for score submission.
I don’t understand why this entire process isn’t automated on a single page for registration and scoring, etc.
