Who's ready for 2021?
Our small 40k town had a F4 tornado 2 weeks ago that killed 21. Now COVID has invaded getting people sick and in the process killed the market/401k and our sales at work. Now my power just went out after we found something good to watch on Netflix on Friday night. No politics involved I'm ready for 2021.

Its been a bumpy road. I am lucky. My business is essential. I have no 401K.
All matches I shoot are cancelled. My indoor range is closed until further notice. I have an outdoor range I can practice at. its 23 *f here right now.
Luckily a friend of mine called asking if I had any steel targets. I do, but no place to put them. He wants them in his yard. I will build him all he wants because I can shoot there.
I can't even visit my mom. Her building is closed.
It can only get better.
I loaded 4,000 9mm and the same in 45 over the last couple months, I have 2 cases of CCI SV and 2 cases of other rimfire. I have a few years of reloading supplies.
Its not all bad.

Edit: I had a parts delivery from the local car dealer. On Monday, car sales went to zero.

Hang in there! I love a couple lines from a movie I never even saw. They seem appropriate for this challenging time.
“Everything will be alright in the end, so if it is not alright it is not the end”
“The measure of success is how we cope with disappointment.”

Given that all of the medical specialist are talking about the fall of 2021 before a vaccine is available, I am thinking that spring of 2022 will be here before we get back to some semblance of normal.

That's an uplifting set of quotes from Aprilian-it's very fitting to me this morning.
I found out yesterday that I have to get surgery done for prostate cancer, I'm thankful that I have an excellent doctor, the prognosis is excellent, and my wife will be working from home and able to help me recover.
During my 4 to 6 week recovery period I may not have to fret about missing some of the the spring matches, I think they are likely to be cancelled out of an abundance of caution, two already were for this month so far. In the end we'll all get through this and be strong again. That's good because I know that I'd really be tempted to try to get out to a match before the doctor says so because I love this sport so much!
So far my surgeon is healthy and doing his normal three days of surgery per week, if things get worse between now and my surgery date I'm blessed that the cancer is not of the agressive type that a surgery delay of several months will put me at risk.
I got into BE shooting in late 2017 and I wish I got into it a decade earlier! At every match I'm always surrounded by a great group of men and women on the line and also on this forum!
God bless you all and lets be strong together!

Yup. Things are going to get even weirder before this all settles out.
