Simpson Ltd Withdrawl Syndrome! Empty Simpson Ltd Withdrawl Syndrome!

Post by CraigB5940 3/30/2020, 9:59 am

It looks like they're closed through April 6th. Is it just me or did anyone else here enjoy checking their what's new page every day? I've seen some very interesting firearms from Europe show up on their inventory in the past year, kind of like browsing a museum every day on my lunch break! I made my first purchase from them in February (a lase model Hammerli 215)  and it was exactly as described, I'm always on the hunt to add more stuff to my stable and they are a good shop!

I'm seeing a wave of pent up demand building here!

I went to the shop recently, this guy has what is very likely the largest inventory in the Midwest. It's about a 30 minute drive for me but he has crates and crates of double barrels, easily over a hundred lugers. Very nice inventory, he has been a competitor for my families gun business for as long as I can remember. And yes, his stuff is very interesting.

While I don't browse his site every day, I do like seeing what they have when I'm looking for specific things. I've bought half a dozen European SXS shotguns from them and have always been satisfied. I would love to visit there someday but I would think I would need more than a day.

I got this badboy from Simpson LTD last year, before the long winter hit.
now, in these trying times of famine I’m embarrassed to admit what I paid for it…

No matter what I paid, I have never been sorry for buying a nice gun. I hope you get many years of enjoyment and your heirs get even more.
I am getting ready to bid on a 1941 Johnson rifle offered at auction - I do not care to discuss the price, but it is on my list of guns I must have.

I like to look at the Lugers there (online).  Every time I get tempted by an artillery model I back away very slowly....

I want an artillery Luger too. So many guns and so little money.
