1911 9mm Target pistol youy guys like?

What 1911 9mm target guns you guy like with adjustable sights ? Why?  I am thinking about buying one. I have a Ruger 1911 9mm lightweight commander with fixed sights. All I can say this pistol is outstanding. Extremely accurate and the lighest commander 1911 out there. Never had a failure to feed or anything after 300 rounds. About a 4 pound trigger pull and very crisp.

It sounds like you like the gun you have. Is adding adjustable sights to it an option?

This thread is a little stale but I need to put my two cents in. I’m a nut when it comes to accurate 9mm pistols. Several years ago it was the Holy Grail but now there are several good options. In no particular order, I have a Browning High Power GP Competition, Springfield RO, STI Edge, SIG P210 Target, and a S&W 952. I have red dot sights on the SIG and the S&W, target sights on the rest. I don’t have a favorite, each has its own personality and purpose. I enjoy the SIG and the 952 because they are such mechanical jewels.
