Is anyone familiar with the SHK mags? Price is right, curious about the quality

Greetings,
Global Ordinance has the aroma of Made in Communist China.
I would telephone/email them to verify the Country of Origin.
Cheers,
Dave

My advice is just pony up the cash for a couple Wilson Combat 7rd mags with the removable bottom, should last a LONG time if taken care of and the follower and springs are replaceable.

It's probably a coincidence, but every time I go CHEAP, it doesn't fail until I hear ready on the firing line.
If they'r only for practice take a chance, but I'd leave them home on match days.

+1 on the Wilson Combat mags. Last a lifetime; at least the 11 years I've had mine.

Yes, nicely said Dave. Most people don't think of China with that respect. Our politicians certainly don't or won't. We don't trade with Cuba, North Korea, or to limited degree with Russia. Russia probably makes some nice stuff, I bet their competition firearms are pretty decent, I have an IZH 46M which is decent for the money. I wonder what their compressed air or CO2 air pistols are like. We can't buy those things directly from them. Oh well, just my view on it.fc60 wrote:

Thanks for all the input, nothing I can disagree with. I have some Wilson combat, Chip McCormick factory Colt and milspec already. I decided to take a chance, at that price they will likely be fine for regular use in my many other 1911’s...
