38 Titegroup load
I just finished up my keg of Bullseye and am way ahead on loading 45's. Stripped the loader down completely and giving it a good cleaning. Since it is apart and I am ahead on 45's thought I would get some 38's loaded. I have a bunch of 158gr Zero swc's. I also have a pound of Titegroup that I bought to try for the 45 but didn't see any real difference between Titegroup and Bullseye so I stuck with Bullseye. I also have HP38 and 231 but would like to get the Titegroup used up. This is not going to be for DR or anything like that. Mainly just ammo to have on hand when I want to shoot the 586. So my question? 3.2gr? Anybody have a suggestion?

http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp says 3.2 will get you 815.

Re: 38 Titegroup load
Scott,
3.4gr Titegroup gave me outstanding accuracy at 50 yds with
the 158gr Zero swaged SWC in my S&W 14-2. From the sand bag rest
with a 7 power scope on it for testing ammo, 10 shot group were 5X, 3-10s and 2-9s that just squeaked out. Considering shooter error they shot pretty well!

Thanks for the info guys! I will give those loads a try. But apparently not right away. Hadn't loaded 38's for more than 20 years and can't find small primer cup for my Dillon 550. After 25 minutes on hold I finally got through to them and have one on the way.
