Marvel "German" Magazines tight fit in 1911 magazine well
Just picked up a used marvel with the "Made in Germany" metalic magazines.
Both magazines are too large and bind in the well. Tried them on several Caspian(Foster) frames with same results.
Has anyone worked throught this issue?

Re: Marvel "German" Magazines tight fit in 1911 magazine well
My GSG mags in my foster frame have a little step above the "made in germany" and the ".22 long rifle" that occasionally catches on the opening in the frame that is under the grips. I thought it was hitting my trigger bow, so I took the grips off to analyze, and found no other problemo. For me there is definitely no problem with the foster frame--with a stripped frame the GSG mags are completely loose.
