I plan to use an Aimpoint mounted on the slide, but not sure of a Micro or 9000sc. I prefer the 9000, but wondering if the weight will cause any problems. Which would you go with? Why?

9000 will run with standard warm BE loads no problem. Reduced loads if your pistol is built correctly.

If you don't already have a rail, get the one that Jon makes - very nice.

I have a 9000.  Wish I was 33.    :-(

I just bought a one inch Ultradot.  The field of view is reduced, but the gun feels more balanced.

I have an ultradot and didn’t care for it. Since then I’ve been back and forth between aimpoint 9000 and micro. I love them both, great quality, just can’t decide which I prefer. I never had a problem with the 9000 with a rebarreled SARO. I think 9000 is more balanced feeling for me but micro weight reduction helps with fatigue on my bum shoulder

I've had both a micro and a 9000... I now have a second 9000 on order and have sold the micro... didnt like the micro and wasn't about to put another $150+ into shades and base into a $600 dot to make it "acceptable". Yeah, I bought a $50 shade for the 9000 to keep the oil off the front lens, but I. Still hundreds ahead...
