Bayou Rifles holds 2700 matches. I'll pm the match director's email to you.

Austin Rifle Club, about 200 miles from Houston, holds a monthly outdoor 2700.

Bullseye in the Houston, TX area
Thanks for inquiring about Bullseye matches in the Houston, TX area. You should be hearing from our Match Director soon. Bayou Rifles holds monthly 2700 outdoor matches on the 4th Sunday of every month except December. Though we have two ranges, we hold Bullseye matches at our west Houston range located near Hwy 6 just north of I-10. The match begins at 9:00AM and usually ends near 2:00PM, with a break for lunch after the center fire match. Look forward to seeing you at a future match. Regards, Joe

You are correct regarding the location. It is a covered outdoor range with more than 40 firing points, each having individual metal benches. Joe

Would I be able to shoot everything with a 45?
I don't have a 22.

You will need a 22, but if you show up, someone will put one in your hands to borrow. During the covid thing though, you may need to contact the director rather than just showing up. So email. bribullseye@christensen.netTexasref wrote:Would I be able to shoot everything with a 45?

what 45 do you have? You can add an Advantage Arms conversion to a 1911 for about $300.

Lightfoot,
thanks for the contact info.
I have been looking at the SW22 Victory. It seems fairly popular here on the forum.

Come shoot first so you can see what others are using and try out some options. I wouldn't waste the money on a Victory. The same money goes a long way into a conversion. Remember, 2/3rds of the match is shot with a 1911 (not a rule, but reality none the less) why not make it 3/3rds?Texasref wrote:Lightfoot,
