Didn't see a thread for this... It is 'off topic' but thought it might be interesting to share a few pics of our non-bullseye guns

Here's my new BBQ gun (if you are from Texas you know what that means)

Picked it up today at noon

1873 Cattlemen .357 nickel/faux ivory 3.5" SA from Taylor & Co. (Pietta out of Italy)

I'll wear this proudly at my next social gathering when I have my cowboy boots on

A nice set of grips and the right caliber make a pretty neat "pig" gun also. Model 57..

Definitely not bullseye, but sure accurate! This is my deer gun, since in Southern MN we are limited to shotgun slugs or handguns. 7-30 Waters, shoots a 120 grain Nosler at 2460 fps. into 1" groups at 100 yds. Recoil about like a .357 but deer deadly out to at least 250 yds. Non-bullseye guns 20201214

You need to take that poor little Ultradot off and put an Aimpoint S-1 on that cannon.

LenV. Sadly it is just a "safe queen". I have to admit that I've only shot it a couple of times. Shown off and bragged with it is all.

My pal who is an ex-cowboy and built like an oversized John Wayne is the only one who has shot the "full strength" Casull ammo in it. Fired 2 shots and put it down. "That hurt" he cried!

Yeah, I think 454 Casull is only shot in the revolver when you want to give it to someone else to shoot.

“Hey Buddy, you gotta try this!” as you grin in anticipation of watching their face after the first shot.

You always have to take another shot, just to be sure it was for real! Laughing

I can attest to the two shot “rule”.  Someone had a 50 cal converted Boys Anti-Tank rifle at the range.  He offered me a try.  I took one shot, then a second.  I then got up and said “that’s enough fun for one day”.
