How to run a Sectional?
I want to run a Sectional for conventional, and International AND I want to shoot.
I've never Done this before.
1) Is it too late?
2) How do l set it up?
3) what else do I need to know?
Promoting it in time could be an issue however there are only 8 people who would shoot the International, they could be emailed

1. I think you still have time, but you will not be listed in Shooting Sports. You may have to schedule it in late March.
2. You need to get the NRA Sectional Program template and edit it to specify your location, contact info for competitors to use to register, and any local awards that will be provided by the venue.
3. You will need three non-competitor officials. You will need to sanction the event via mail or online at:
https://tournaments.nra.org/Views/TournamentInfo.aspx
When you sanction, you will need the venue NRA ID and you will need to attach your edited program. You will also need to provide an estimate of attendance.
NRA will send a package that includes pins, award material, official score cards and some forms to fill out and return after the match. For the Sectionals we ran, the package from NRA showed up just before the event. We had very little time to look it over.
Good Luck getting it running. I wish I could attend.
