Morini CM-22. Another rare bird in USA
Been flipping through some ISSF coverage on YouTube. Pardini are by far the most popular, but I did notice some pistols that are unfamiliar to me. This one looks interesting. Pilk Guns seems to be an agent for them.

Tried to post an image, but the system does not like me!
I wonder whether anyone on this forum has tried them?

I own and shoot one on a regular basis. Love this gun! It's very simple, not as heavy as Pardini, and deadly accurate. Eats pretty much any SV ammo, but I prefer SK Std+. I only have alibis when I don't clean it for a long time, otherwise it works like a Swiss watch (pun intended )
Trigger is adjustable in almost every way, you can make it one or two stage, roll or crisp. Mine came with factory and spare Rink grip, and oddly enough I like factory grip better than Rink.
I have to admit, I did have a recurring issue with it, every three years or so the ejector would break and I had to send the trigger group to Pilkington. I heard that there was a batch of ejectors that was not properly heat treated. Last time I replaced the ejector was three years ago and I went through ~3000 rounds since, without a single hiccup. Hopefully this time it's a charm

I saw one of for sale a short while ago, found it intriguing. For many the lack of optics mounting is probably the biggest drawback. It appears to share some parts with their air guns, rear sight and trigger blade look very similar to the ones on my 162EI. I would probably consider one if I were in the market for a target 22.

Nice! I looked briefly in the past and didn't see any options. How difficult would it be to switch back to irons?

Not difficult at all, just a few basic operations with screwdriver. Of course, going back and forth you have to re-zero. Which is why I have two CM22, one is for the bullseye and one is for the international and EIC ))
