Shooting air pistol this weekend.
They are having a 3 string air pistol, iron sights only match @ 25 yards this weekend. So I sighted in my Beeman P17 .177 at 25 and was really surprised at its accuracy. I would have been hard pressed in thinking that it would have remotely performed at all > 15 yards. As you can see it looks like I will be shooting my first air pistol match.

That's impressive. I'll have to see what my P3 will do at that range - from a rest on a non-windy day.

My alecto/zoraki air pistol is very accurate at 20 yds. Constantly in the black. I wish I could do that with my High Standard Victor. Andrew Berrhill made a replica grip from the Alecto to fit the Victor. More BE shooters should shoot air pistols. Its a great way to practice.

I was shooting in the 715-720 in our 900 match till I started to practice with my beeman. Last two matches 768 and a 770. My brother on law laughs at me for shooting it but I show marked improvement with it. Let him have his amusement while I enjoy mine.jejajones wrote:My alecto/zoraki air pistol is very accurate at 20 yds. Constantly in the black. I wish I could do that with my High Standard Victor.
