Rimfire case gauge?
I have some 22 long rifle ammo that won't pass the plunk test in my High Standard barrel. I tried looking on the internet for a case gauge to perform this test, but have been unsuccessful. Anyone aware who makes one and where I may purchase it. Using the case gauge would be easier than removing the barrel.
Thank You

Re: Rimfire case gauge?
Greetings,
Your barrel, fully cleaned, is the best gauge.
You would have to get someone to machine a separate gauge using the same chamber reamer as your High Standard. $$$$$
Cheers,
Dave

Run a .25cal bronze brush in the chamber with some solvent.
That .22LR cartridge should plop. What manufacturer is that .22 round?
