Pardini SP22 HP22 Magazine fitment
Pardini Magazine fitment. I have an older SP22 and an older HP 22. I have newer magazines for both. Some of them fit fine and some are extra tight and are difficult to fully insert and even more difficult to pull out. They all shoot fine. They insert about half way just fine the get very tight. Is there a known fix? A quick modification? My guess is that it is a width issue at the metal part. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi Todd:
Is it front to back width or side to side width?
Might want to take the barrel off the gun and with a bright light behind it, look down the mag well while a mag is being inserted to see where it is getting tight.
Not sure if this would work on the pardini but I had problems with a number of magazines in my Model 41. ended up taking a file to them and filing the side of the magazines flat and now they slide in like butter.
Hope this helps,
Regards,

Thanks. I will look with a light. It seems side to side but a look with a light should tell me.

I think it is the protrusion of the feed ramp. The magazine front to back is widest at the top to the end of the feed ramp in the front. Measure the difference in this dimension on magazines which work easier.

The new magazines don't fit the older Pardini SPs. Alex told me to take a needle nose pliers and bend the feed ramp up just slightly. I did and it worked perfectly.
