Finally happy with my Pardini HP!!!
After almost three years of frustration and struggles with my .32ACP HP I finally got it working! It wasn't easy though, first I had to make a custom barrel from a piece of .308 blank and a lightweight aluminum shroud, and then I started my quest for ammo again. A Good Samaritan gave me a few boxes of .32ACP JHP Fiocchi ammo, the bullet is 60gr and is sized to .310. This stuff is really hot, it kicks almost like a .38 special, but it is perfectly on call! I shot a match yesterday, and my scores for all three SF were in mid-90s (and those pesky 8's were all my fault )
For the short line I still use .314 T&B coated LSWC over 1.6gr N310, and perhaps I can reduce it to 1.4gr, we'll see.
But I'm very happy that my $3k gun now acts as one, not as some Saturday night special

Might be a stupid question and I’m too lazy to look it up but are you allowed a compensator

It's nice looking.
Is the comp built into the barrel or threaded?
I'm assuming built onto. In order for the ports to line up correctly.

Sorry to hear you had problems with your HP. I guess I got a good one..... I load the 60 grain XTP's with 2.3 grains of titegroup. Holds the 10 ring if I do my part. Only issue is my stockpile of XTP's is running short.

I tried 60 and 85 XTP with various charges of N310, but could never get any good accuracy with the original barrel, I could barely keep the shots on paper, let alone in the black. Maybe I got a damaged barrel, I have no idea, it looks fine, no visual defects in the rifling or the crown, but it just won't shoot.

Awesome looking project! I actually just cleaned my first cf target(tf) this week with my Hp and T&b reloads. Love the Hp.
