If anyone else is worried about damaging the tube mags here's a potential solution

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5020105. There's an indent on the back for a small steel insert to fasten it to a magnetic strip.
If you don't have a printer and want one making send me a PM and we can negotiate.
