Almost 20 years apart! Yes I can see the head stamp. These were loaded at one was 4.4 grains of Bulleye and one was 4.5 of N310.
I normally loaded these until they crack and used them for 50 and 25 loads. Now I use them for 25 only with 3.6 grains of N310. I use Starline for my 50 yards now
Questions:
What gun/barrel?
Did the primers blow out too or are they still in place?

Looks like a classic double charge rupture and not case fatigue.
As low of a charge that I use a double charge would not blow the case up

Now, earlier in this thread I tried to get us squared away with a source for once-fired brass, and people had to ruin it. I would have shared with you, but NOOOOOOO, this is why we can't have nice things.

Load til they split, can't even guess how many times mine have been reloaded. They are loaded light, 3.1 grs Bullseye and a 190 gr cast SWC used in a tuned for load SA RO.

Rims also hammer out leading to shells that won't feed into the breechface. My gauge checks for that.
Re: 45acp case
shoot it till the head stamp is gone or splits plus 1

I keep small batches together. When one case in the batch splits I dump the batch.
