Modify or dont
As this gun stands it’s a shooter and has some value as a collectors piece

But it’s not going to get much use as it sits

It’s got all the bells and whistles straight out of the box to be a fine hardball gun
But I’d need to mull the slide to accept a dot or at a minimum adjustable sights

Any one have any opinions

Guns are made to be shot.

If I owned one, I'd set that thing up to do what I wanted it to do (rail, adjustable sights or both) and shoot the hell out of it.

Push out Novak sights, replace with Burris or EGW microdot adapter, install Burris FF or Vortex Venom (I vote Venom).
Easily reversible, just don't mess up pushing out sight.
