22lr at wallmart
things looking little better at local WallMart haven't seen any 22lr for about a year today they had Federal Automatch 325 rounds for 21.16 a box, I got a two box to use in a little single shot rifle, I did use this in my S&W model 41 when I first started shooting Bullsye then switched to CCI sv after some older shooters told me it was to hot for the M41 but it did group well for me.

Thanks for the heads up.went to the closest one to my house and saw they had several types of 22LR bricks. Winchester 333 bricks, some 100th Anniversary bricks, and 15 bricks of the AutoMatch. They were also 21.16 each.
Left plenty for the next guy. Or gal. Had to wait almost 30 minutes before someone came to open the ammo case. Then they carried the bricks up to the a register in the front. Was not allowed to handle the bricks prior to purchase.
, Have several bricks of CCI SV. But will try out this in the X-Esse and M41. Doubt if it is much higher velocity than SV. If too hot it can be shot in the guns made for HV ammo.

It is about the same as Norma TAC22. That’s 1200fps out of a rifle. Hotter than SV, but I’ve fired it out of my41 without issues. And, for the record, I do NOT hold the idea that anything other than SV will harm a 41 with good springs in it. I found it to be good for training but not good for important matches. YMMV.

Back in 2010ish I was shooting lots of Federal Automatch. It RR exceptionally well from my 2005ish Marvel longslide with Shilen barrel and was $14 a box. I shot my PB SF 100-8x with Automatch ammunition. Future lots of the ammunition shot like hell.

A few wks ago I bought Automatch @ WM for $17.74 a brick (325) a limit of 3. Haven't seen any since. Last wk a clerk said they had not seen any for 3-4 wks.
I bought the ammo on a Wed but have been checking since on week ends. Prob should try during the week. I've shot this ammo for quite a while w/ good results.
