Bullseye shooting instruction near Sacramento

I’m looking for any type of club, classes, instruction, etc. In the Sacramento area for bullseye precision type shooting. I use 22 cal and air pistols. Do those exist? Any help?

I think there is a active club in northern California, try th bullseye group on Facebook.

I'm the match director for the FSC Precision Pistol Club.  We have matches on the first Saturday of each month - 2700, 1800, International and CMP leg matches.  We shoot at the Sacramento Valley Shooting Center near Ione.  PM me and I'll send you more info.

Hi, I tired to PM you but I just signed up and can't use that feature until I have 5 posts and I don't want to clog up the forum with junk.

I would appreciate it if you could send me the info.  I shot bullseye a couple of times years ago and it was really humbling.  Now that I am retired I would like to give it a shot after some practice.

I looked at the Sac Valley Shooting Center webtsite, that's where I shoot. I know that have matches first Saturday of month, but otherwise the site is pretty incomprehensible to me.

Unfortunately, you’re a day too late for shooting at Sac Valley this weekend. It was warm, yet we did have a shooter shoot a 10X clean.

Next matches are Wednesday league at Sunnyvale, Saturday at Coyote Point, and Sunday in Gonzales.

I still need to clear the above with Mrs. and Ms. Bickar.

August 21st, league at Sunnyvale; August 25th 1800 in Richmond,; August 31st “Ouchy Elbow” Service Pistol match in Richmond, 230gn JRN issued on the line as God and JOHN MOSES BROWNING HIMSELF intended.

Subsequent to that, Sunnyvale Labor Day 2700 Match (“best match in the West”) September 2nd, and then it looks like we’re gonna have Sunnyvale League two days later on September  4th, and then another 2700 at Sac Valley on September 7.

I am a member of an informal bullseye league that meets on the 3 Sunday of the month in the morning at the San Leandro Rifle and Pistol range, we shoot 22's and air pistols as well as air rifle and 22 rifles. The goal it to turn in one B-8 target with 30 shots for the 22 shot at 25 yards and 6 air pistol targets with 10 shots each at a 12.5 yard distance.  We then have a pizza and tell lies.
