Camp Perry - CMP Classifications
I reached out to Jim to inquire about the Nationals and classifications which were absent last year.
Here is his reply
Hi Joe,
Yes we will be using individual classifications from now on. We didn't use them last year as most people didn’t have enough CMP rounds down range to merit a classification.
Thanks,
Jim Henderson

This was my only complaint about last year. Fixed!

Your classification of Master is based on your average score of 89.00.
Eek - gonna have to get some more CMP matches in before Perry.

Does the card say something like EIC pistol? The CMP Match Pistol uses a different range, 89.0 would be a sharpshooter.

Rimfire pistol - so I assume it's 22 EIC.
So - if I don't get any CMP match pistol events before Perry - do they take the NRA classification or put you in UC/HM ?

The rule book says you can use the NRA classification if you don’t have a CMP classification.
Unless the program says something different.

Not to be nit picky, but no, they didn't. Show me in the rules where it says a match director MUST use classifications as a basis for awards.
