Thanks. Free shipping, and you can order a case. I just got a case delivered to Ohio for $428.

Must have just lowered the price even more. I got some a few weeks back on sale and was $52 after tax. I'm thinking this may be my new go-to 22 ammo, not much more than CCI if any and made by RWS. Also hearing the issues some have have lately with CCI doesn't make me want to pay full price for a case, CCI was much more attractive when it was $229.

Anyone having trouble with this ammo? I bought four bricks and before they came in I bought a case when it went on sale. When the four bricks came in I took a box to the range. I had all kind of problems with my Nelson which is very reliable. Loaded with CCI SV and Aguila super extra........not a problem. When the case came in I took my Pardini to the range and nothing but stove pipes. When it didn't stove pipe it wouldn't pick up the next round. I have never had an alibi with my Pardini. I have requested return authorization fore both orders. I'll keep you all informed on they're customer service.

I shot a box through my 208S with no issues. Then I bought a case. Looks like I should shoot more before the RMA period is past.

One thing I'm not a fan of is I can't find a lot number on the boxes. Was hoping to see if the case I just got was the same lot as the 3 bricks I got prior that tested fine in my 208S. My RWS Target Pistol had the lot stamped on the flap. Gonna try some out of the case this Friday.

Hardly enough to judge, but 60 flawless rounds through my MG2 today. Shot a 581, incidentally. Seems accurate. Slightly more stout than CCI. About the same as SK pistol match special.

Not sure why I didn't see that stamp, it's for sure there.
So I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that my first order of 4 bricks was lot 47TQ31 and shot another box today and again ran flawlessly in my 208S. The bad news is my brand new case of lot 66TQ22 is trash, it's noticeably lower energy and has issues with stovepipes or even reinserting the empty case in the chamber, didn't lock back a couple times, I gave up after 60-70 rounds of it. Gotta email for a return and see if they have other lots to ship.

I was beginning to think I was the only one. My case lot 61TQ41 is the same thing. A lot of bunny farts, won't lock back, failure to extract, and a lot of stove pipes. I have no idea what the case number was on the four bricks I bought but they sent me a return label so those bricks are already on the way back. Be sure you tell them you know of other shooters having similar problems. They seem to be easy to deal with. I give them an A for their customer service. I haven't heard from them concerning my case I bought though.

I emailed them and explained it thoroughly including that it shot the first lot fine and went through a case of RWS Target Pistol very reliably. If they give me crap I'll just take it up with my credit card company. I just hope the next case is good, I was really excited about some RWS made ammo for $40 a brick with today's prices.

Got 4 bricks of Tac 22 last week-(53SQ32) - specs say, power-wise it's somewhere between CCIsv and Aguila SEsv. NOT. -- It is noticably weakest of the 3. -- --
Won't run the Pardini BE reliably. - Wouldn't begin to run a friend's Ruger. - Runs my AA conversion 98% (model 41 recoil spring installed-used w/good buffer). - -Runs in the Walther GSP Expert 100% and fairly accurately.
I'll use it in the AA Target Conversion and GSP. -- It's been chilly here--maybe it'll do better in warmer weather.
Tac 22 has the same headstamp as Geco 22lr rifle - they feel & shoot similarly.
Now I wish I'd kept my old, tired Pardini recoil spring.
In my AA I have the 7/8" longer target (not threaded) barrel. - like the added weight. -- Russ

Mine have RWS head stamps, does RWS also make Geco ammo? I like this ammo when its right but may wait a while to buy more to allow this weak ammo to make it through their warehouse. They were pretty easy to deal with regarding taking it back and supplying a prepaid shipping label.

RWS and GECO (and Norma) are part of RUAG. So 22 ammo is built on the old RWS assembly lines…

Norma and RWS are trademarks of RUAG Ammotec, a RUAG Group Company.
RUAG Ammotec, a RUAG Group Company also has Rotweil, Geco and Ruag Swiss brands along with Glock and few others.
Similar to CCI, Federal and Remington ammo all being owned by Vista Outdoors.

Re: Norma TAC 22 $39.89 / 500
I bought 3 bricks a couple of weeks ago. Last weekend I tried some in my Clark Ruger 22/45. 2 out 10 would stove pipe. What did shoot was accurate. The ammo was left in my car overnight in low 30 degree temperature. Today the temp was 50 degrees and I kept the bullets in my pocket and I went to the range with my Ruger Precision .22. Shot at 50 yards and it works great in a bolt action. I shot some Eley Club for comparison and the Tac 22 grouped better. The number stamped on the box end is 70RQ43.

So far this ammo seems to be VERY lot dependent. I feel like that ammo I just sent back had to be below 1000 but didn't have time to chrono it.

Just fired the lot# 62SQ22, flawless function and no accuracy problems with both a MG2R and two Hammerli Xesse's. Did have light strikes on a .22 Nelson conversion, but that was 100% due to a light main spring that was setup specifically for the conversion. Typical European greasy feel on the bullet and casing.

Returning was fairly painless, they provided a shipping label. They did take a couple weeks to process the credit.

Re: Norma TAC 22 $39.89 / 500
Yeah, they were pretty good about that. I asked them if they could send me a case of good ammo instead of a refund. The girl I was talking to said "You have returned two shipments of our ammo and you want us to send you more?!?! Yeah, I guess you are right, you all can't guarantee anything. Norma is a joke if they don't test lots. I guess we are the testers. At least they have good customer service.
