Which 1911 Leaf Spring
There are three different style sear leaf springs that I know of the, four finger, the Cylinder & slide style with the cutout sear and disconnect ( Nowlin ) and the factory three finger.
Not sold on the four finger which looks like it could break and jam the mechanism. The cutout Cylinder & Slide/Nowlin looks like it would be easier to tune than the factory, but will it hold when set?

I've had the four leaf spring in my Kimber Gold Match for probably close to 20 years and it hasn't broken yet.

I have a couple of the new EGW evolved springs in 2 of my Range Officers. They adjust both center and left fingers well, so far have held settings and I didn't have to stone the sides to keep them from dragging on the frames.

I really like the C&S spring, for some reason I found it easier to tune and get a 3.5 or 4 pound trigger than other springs I tried. I have the C&S spring in most of my 1911s.

Thanks for the responses, everyone. I plan on getting a few different brands and give them a try.
