Ultradot Matchdot II mounting rings
I'm installing a Matchdot II on a Pardini GT6 in .45 ACP. Is there a suggested torque for the screws?
The manual says to tighten for a snug fit then another 1/4 turn. When I've mounted scopes on my rifles the manufacturers always suggest a minimum and maximum torque for the screws.

What size screws? The size dictates the torque.

I figured it out. 8-32 screws and I torqued them to 17 inch pounds.Wobbley wrote:What size screws? The size dictates the torque.

It's also possible that these are "angle torque" specs, instead of in-lb. With angle torque, the idea is that the thread ramp causes the fastener to stretch a specific amount, based on the angle it was turned through. In such cases, the fastener is never reused.
However, if the mount doesn't slip or loosen, I'm sure you'll be fine.
