Hmmm, look at the number of sighters involved?

Shot No. 69 hit the eight-inch orange circle and was later recovered.

The effort included a support team of experts at the firing line. Multiple spotters downrange also called shots and were on hand to verify impact and later recover the bullet.

  How well protected were the downrange spotters?  Solid bronze .416" bullet?  No thanks!

I suppose the fact that the target was 4+ miles away didn’t register with you?    Do you have any world records you can post here that’ll beat this one??
