Vintage M-41 Grips
Hello,
I don't typically do product reviews but I'm rather pleased with this one and wanted to share. I've been using Herrett grips for my M-41 for some time. I like that they feel somewhat similar to a 1911. But I haven't been too please with them as they feel rather chunky.
After some lengthy searches I found a new pair, of unknown manufacturer, on a site called Vintage Grips. They are way more comfortable than the Herrett grips and the checkering is sharper. The edge that meets with the front strap is also tiny bit sharp, which is really helpful for indexing. And at $60 they're a deal.
If you're in the market, check 'em out here:

They look a lot like Herrett H41 grips.

Well, kinda. The Herrett's have a raised part that attempts to replicate a 1911 grip panel. That makes them a bit chunkier, and rather blockish. The Vintage are curved rather well.

Lol, they do! But they look different than my "old" Herretts. Here's what mine look like:

At least you've solved my mystery. These are probably remanufactured Herretts of this particular style (i.e. old vs. new) by Vintage.
Thanks!

They do , should be excellent, stipple or checker the back strap and they are perfect for that gun.Sa-tevp wrote:They look a lot like Herrett H41 grips.
