38 HBWC bulletinfo
I'm trying to identify the bullet on the right. These are all 38 cal, 148 gr HBWC bullets. The left is a Zero, middle a Precision Delta, and the right is unknown. The right bullet appears to have a dry lube as well as dried wax in the lube grooves. Does anyone know who made this bullet? Thank you.

The Remingtons I used to use had a black colored "lube" that got everywhere. This might be one with all that removed.

These measure from .3576-.3580". Aren't Remingtons .360"?

Speer uses a dry lube that is a similar color to what that appears to be. They are also commonly used in Bullseye shooting. Although getting off my butt and going and getting one, this does not match up to what I have in my hand.

Jim, I have some also, good shooting wadcutters. I cleaned them off with gasoline and relubed them with 2 thin coats of 45-45-10, not sticky and not smoky. I shoot my HG 50 WC tumble lubed the same way which are pretty accurate also. The 38 is just a really fun caliber to shoot, 32 probably is also but I don't own one.

Thanks for the photos Jim.
I've got 800 of these. Before loading them I'd thought finding out the brand was important in case the gun loves them...

The unknown on the right also appears taller.

I think that Star bullets could be purchased with two different kinds of lubes. One was white and the other black.
