OK, so hear me out ....
I just got this 208s and while it holds great and the trigger feels excellent, the recoil recovery doesn't match either the GSP Expert or the Pardini.  I have the RFO scope mount on it and added the RFO/LGI "40g" barrel weight (actually weighs in at 28g or 1oz).

I also have a GSP Expert and at one time, had the 75g barrel weight with the recoil absorbers on it ($87 at Champion's Choice).  It just made the nose of the GSP a little too heavy.  It was sitting in my parts bin, so ...

I drilled and tapped a couple #6-32 holes in the bottom of the RFO scope mount

and screwed the GSP accessory weight to the bottom with a couple 6-32 screws with some 1/16" self-adhesive neoprene in between.

I'll try it out tomorrow.

Nice job!  I've heard Interarms is making barrel weights for 208/215 but nothing shows on their website yet.

Pistol shot well. Recoil recovery was noticeably better but the added weight wasn't good for me as I started getting a little shaky toward the end of a TF string.

Which elucidates the competing factors of damping muzzle-flip (barrel tip inertia) and overall mass.

Given that muzzle-brakes are a no-go, the goal should be placing mass to reduce muzzle-flip while minimizing overall mass.  Right?
