Springfield RO grip Empty Springfield RO grip

Just handled a NOS Springfield ROmwith the shorter barrel. The grip was a very aggressive finish, almost felt like stippling.
Any idea what or whose grips they are?
Reaching out to Springfield was not successful.

I have several RO Elites, all came standard with VZ G10 grip panels, a mix of angled slots and “golfball” dimples in dark gray.

Thanks to the people who turned me on to VZ Grips, I now own 3 pair of them.  Lots of styles and choices here:
   https://vzgrips.com/

If you buy one pair, you get a discount coupon, which I asked them to apply to the nest two grips I wanted.

The grips I bought are like "sharkskin" grips, on steroids.

There's even a section on their website where they have discounted grips on "clearance sale".
One pair is on my 9mm Range Officer Target, but I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet - next week.

Lots of good photos on their website, and if you call them, they'll talk you through the available options.

Hardly any of my palm touchs the grip panel so I have never thought about the gripping surface of the panels.  Is your palm against the panel?
