Project Farm CLP Test
I enjoy Todd @ Project Farm videos, and noticed he did one on firearm CLP products. He tested using the Mil-Spec standard, and the results were interesting. If you are interested in the topic, I linked the video below.

You got to admire his determination - "A" for effort. But not sure a rotating wheel sitting in a tub of liquid lubricant is analogous to gun lube as it is used*.
Gun lube should be a thin layer, which may not have the same lubricating/protective properties as replenishing liquid.
*Seems more like a model of transmission or engine oil

I really like Clenzoil and I have used it for years. It used to be made in Canton and it has a pleasant smell, somewhat like a pine forest.

I agree that the test was not directly indicative of how this would perform in a handgun. But I feel it was close enough to draw my own conclusions for what I might buy next time for CLP. I would like to have seen a couple other lubrications tested - specifically Mili-Tec.
