CHEAP: Looking for movie projector for Camp Perry hut use

Hi All,

The GA, and some poor souls from FL we call friends, are bunking in the hooches at Camp Perry this year. As a result, we are trying to make sure we have the accommodations that are befitting for us, and the question came up about: movie night! Does anyone know of a CHEAP projector for a movie (which could take any number of inputs) that is currently available in/on the regular places? Some of these things I'm looking at cost close to 1K; which seems too high for what I'd like- which is to be able to project a film onto nothing more than the side of a hooch (or we can make a screen if needed). Can make it a smaller view, if needed.

Any sub-$400 projector that you have experience with is appreciated.

Are you looking for an old Super 8 movie projector or a slide projector? Or a VHS tape player?

If anyone has a Motorola smart phone my kids used to use the projector "mods" that attach on the back and they, while nothing like the $1K projectors you saw, kept our family of 4 entertained when necessary at maybe $100 for the unit once the phones started to go out of style.  Maybe one of the guys has one of those Motos (like a Moto Z, Moto Play) in a drawer. I don't have the phones anymore but could check the kids' rooms for the projector if you do.

Did you try your library? More and more have things like projectors that can be checked out.
