Camp Perry Picnic
Years ago we would have a Bullseye L picnic at Camp Perry.
I got to meet lots of the members here and even got a pair of Ed Masaki's homemade sandals one year in a door prize.
It would be nice if someone would step up and organize a picnic for next year so we can meet the people we share the forum with.

Re: Camp Perry Picnic
They sure were great and got bigger all the time. Having said that, it was a ton of work. Dennis Willing did it for quite a number of years. The Ultradot picnic put on by Larry Carter was also a "must attend event" and it benefitted junior bullseye pistol shooters. Steve Locatelli (aka: Slocat) was the force behind e-World which put together teams for those shooters who were unattached. It gave opportunities for shooters to shoot team matches who might otherwise not be able to compete.

Wouldn't it be easier to just have a get-together at Bel-Mel's tavern for pizzas?
No organizing, and everyone pays, and there is beer. Are you allowed to serve beer on base?

Only in your hut and adjacent area. Remember it is a BIG deal to get a DUI on a military installation… so…be cautious!

Used to be MP’s on patrol, haven’t seen any of recent. The picnic was good but a lot of work.

Talking with High Standard about hosting a High Standard/ShootingSight pizza and beer event in out building next year. Need to talk to CMP about rules for serving beer.

Receptions and Meetings at Camp Perry
I have already had my first meeting with the Camp Perry events office about the High Standard 75th year Celebration at Camp Perry event. I and Art are looking into renting an event room in the Club House for a Bullseye L event. It appears that you can have F & B in those venues. Maybe for next year??? - Alan Aronstein
