Sig Romeo5 for Model 52
As described, I'm looking for a mounting solution for my Model 52 to add a SIG ROMEO5, or similar (think Holosun).
The EGW kits seem to favor the smaller reflex style red dots.
Any advice is appreciated.

The folks at the One Force Weaponry CNC shop in Maine may be able to help. I think they make a couple 52 mounts.

I think you’ll have to drill and tap your slide. The Romeo5 weighs 5.1 ounces. The Vortex Venom and Burris FastFire3 weigh about an ounce. The adjustable rear sight is nearly the same as the reflex dot. So the dovetail would enlarge with a tube dot and the Pic rail mount. Or you could opt for a grip mount. Here are two pics with some pistols I use for training. (Yup even the 52). One is the 52 and the other is my 745 S&W both with Burris FastFire3 reflex sights. These were targets shot to consume leftover chronographing rounds. The 52 prefers factory wadcutter ammo, but that is expensive. I’m still searching for a decent 52 load that holds the X ring at 25. But they both show that a reflex dot can work in Bullseye even if they’re not a normal approach.

I think this is a picture of my Romeo4A mounted on my 52. I took a longer rail designed for tube sights and cut it down to fit. A little aluminum black and it looks like it was made for it. Rail mounts in rear sight cut.
BME mounts are still being made. It's a different cut for no dash and dash 1s and 2s
