Converting 9mm 1911
I have an older SA 1911 in 9mm with supported chamber and I’m wondering how feasible it is to convert to 10mm? I’ve tuned it up a bit, its not a BE gun, I bought to bang steel with, then the idea of converting germinated in my head so… Anyone tried this? I’ve read about converting 38 Supers but not 10’s likely cause 10’s are not a BE option

Need a slide with 10mm breech face or open the 9 to 10mm.

Strayer Voigt makes slides with interchangeable breech faces, though another gun may be cheaper.
