help finding bullseye loads for a 38 special
Hi, i inherited my brother's SW 686 revolver and his SW Model 52 semi-auto as well as VV N310 and VV N320 powder, Winchester primers and 148 gn HBWC projectiles.
Hoping perhaps someone might have so recommendations regarding promising loads for bullseye range paper target type shooting using the components i already have.
Thank you

I didn't see any mention of VV N310 or VV N320 in the thread Wobbley linked.
You can find some 38 special loads for 148 gr DEWC on the VIHTAVUORI RELOADING DATA web site.

148gr HBWC seem happy around 700 fps. Factory Federal is 690 iirc. Let the chronograph and the targets be your guide. As a data point, an old Lee book gives 2.9gr of N320 for 746fps with OAL of 1.18 (flush is 1.15)
